Seth Kaplan PT, DPT, OCS, MHA

Seth Kaplan is a native of Pickens, Mississippi. He attended Louisiana State University and is a 1989 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. In 1993, he received a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University. Dr. Kaplan received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010 from Evidence in Motion Physical Therapy Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. Kaplan is a manual therapist, Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 1999. His clinical expertise is in the area of orthopedics, sports medicine, and work-related injuries. Dr. Kaplan has over 30 years of clinical practice in Orthopedics. He has served as President and CEO of BRPT-Lake since 2004.

Michelle Colson

Michelle Colson has spent 16 years in the medical field, showing dedication and compassion to her patients. She is married to her high-school sweetheart for 32 years. Together, they have built a beautiful family, raising six children who bring immense joy and pride. The family has also been blessed with three grandsons, adding even more love and laughter to their lives.  Outside of work she finds great happiness in spending time with family and friends.  Many of those moments are spent on the soccer field cheering on her boys.

Zach Crochet PT, DPT

Zach earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Marshall University School of Physical Therapy in Huntington, West Virginia in 2019. Prior to that, Zach obtained his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from McNeese State University in 2014.

Zach is most interested in treating post-operative conditions, athletes, and lower extremity injuries.

In his free time, Zach enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hunting, LSU sports, trying new restaurants, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Elise St. Pé PT, DPT

Elise St. Pé earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Prior to that, Elise obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University.

Elise is most interested in treating orthopedic injuries and post-operative patients.

In her free time, Elise enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Colyn Petry PT, DPT

Colyn Petry earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from LSUHS-Shreveport in 2024. Prior to that, Colyn obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from LSU.
Colyn is most interested in treating orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries.

In his free time, Colyn enjoys playing sports, weightlifting, video games, and spending time with friends and family.

Abigail Grant PTA

Abigail Grant earned her Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City. Prior to that, Abigail obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

She joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy Lake in 2024.

Abigail is most interested in treating gait/balance impairments and orthopedic conditions.

In her free time, Abigail enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with friends/family and her dog (Parish).

Seth Hymel earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from Louisiana State University’s Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Prior to that, Seth obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University.

Seth is most interested in treating orthopedic injuries and gait dysfunction.

In his free time, Seth enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Charlie Kovach PT, DPT

Charlie Kovach earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas State University. Prior to that, Charlie obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Human Movement Science from Louisiana State University.

Charlie is most interested in treating orthopedics and sports-related injuries.

In his free time, Charlie enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching/playing sports, and being outside.

Emma Goldman PT, DPT

Emma Goldman earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from LSUHSC-Shreveport. Prior to that, Emma obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from LSU.

Emma is most interested in treating orthopedic conditions and balance deficits.

In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, playing with her dog (Winnie), and spending time with friends and family.

J’olee Parr PT, DPT

J’olee Parr earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from Louisiana State University’s Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Prior to that, J’olee obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University.

J’olee is most interested in treating orthopedic injuries and gait/balance dysfunction.

In her free time, J’olee enjoys attending concerts and music festivals, working out, and traveling.

Gus Gutierrez PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Gus graduated from the Louisiana State University, School of Allied Health, in 1986. Eight years later, he completed the Gulf Coast Graduate Institute of Manual Therapy Residency Program, focusing on advanced evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions with the use of mobilization and manipulative techniques. After completing the 18-month program, Gus received certification as a Level 2 Manual Therapist. He has earned the prestigious Fellowship status in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, and received his Orthopedic Certified Specialization distinction in 1994, with recertifications in 2004, and then again in 2014. In 2010, Gus received his DPT from the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions. With over 30 years of clinical experience, he has treated a variety of high school, collegiate and professional athletes. He has used Astym® treatment since 2001 on a wide variety of orthopedic patients and has been a national instructor for this treatment since 2003. Gus has completed level I and II training in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT) or Dry Needling through Kinetacore, in addition to Kinesiology Taping and is an Active Release Technique practitioner for the upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine. Dr. Gutierrez has enjoyed working with athletes and athletic trainers over his career and currently serves as the team therapist for a number of high schools as well as an LSU Track and Field physical therapist. He has been practicing physical therapy with BRPT-Lake since 1986.

Greg LeBlanc PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. LeBlanc is a native of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana and earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University. In 1999, he received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Evidence in Motion Physical Therapy Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. LeBlanc is a manual therapist and an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in Physical Therapy as acknowledged by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. His clinical interests are primarily sports rehab and manual therapy, including state-of-the-art techniques such as Astym and ART. He has also completed level I and II training in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT) or Dry Needling through Kinetacore. Dr. LeBlanc is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association (LPTA). He is a past president of the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association. Dr. LeBlanc has been practicing physical therapy with BRPT-Lake since 2000. In recognition for his achievements as a clinician and successes in professional association activities, Dr. LeBlanc was recognized in 2008 as the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Outstanding Physical Therapy Alumni. In 2010, he was recognized as one of the Baton Rouge Business Report 2010 Top 40 under 40 honorees. He is currently serving as a team physical therapist for the LSU Track and Field teams.

Dacia Alexander MA, CCC-SLP

Ms. Alexander is a native of DeRidder, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Communications Disorders from Louisiana State University in 1991. Ms. Alexander is a speech-language pathologist with a certificate of clinical competence. Her areas of expertise are the treatment of neurological disorders and dysphagia. She joined BRPT-Lake in 2001.

Austin Demsky PTA

Mr. Demsky is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Cognitive Studies from Millsaps College in 2013, and his Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2016. He joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy Lake in 2016.

Mr. Demsky also received his ASTYM Certification in March 2022.

Christina Beatty PTA

Ms. Beatty is a native of Denham Springs, LA. She earned her Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2000. She joined Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake in 2000.
